Weight: Maximum weight 250 lbs (113 kg) per person and 500 lbs (226 kg) combined in R44 helicopter.
Height: Maximum passenger height in R44 helicopter is 6 ft 3 in (192 cm)
Experience level: No experience is necessary

What to expect on the day of the experience?

Duration: 30 & 60 minute options
What’s included:
- Flight lessons begin with ground instruction then students do approximately 75% of the flying using dual controls, under flight instructor supervision.
- An airport fee of $35 per person is also included.
- Transportation from NYC can be provided for $250 payable directly to our partner
Who will be present: You will be with a certified instructor & a passenger if you choose this option
Photo/ video: You can take your own photos
Specific rules to follow: Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phones are not allowed on helicopter flights

How to prepare?

Weather dependency: Subject to favorable weather conditions and helicopter maintenance; if canceled due to these reasons, you will be given the option of an alternative date or store credit with Giftory.

With your ground knowledge polished, it's time to experience the skies firsthand. Buckle up for a 30- or 60-minute flight (based on your chosen option) alongside a Certified Flight Instructor. What's the highlight? You get to be the one calling the shots as you take the controls of the Robinson R44 Raven II helicopter. As you soar, be ready to embrace awe-inspiring vistas of Westchester County's charm, the alluring New York / Connecticut coastline, and the majestic Hudson River. (Please note that lessons do not venture into NYC airspace.)

The Robinson R44 Raven II is your high-flying partner, celebrated for its top-tier safety, performance, and comfort. And here's a cherry on top – for a nominal fee on the day of your lesson, you can even bring 1 passenger to witness your sky-bound mastery.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
