Begin your underwater journey with this ideal beginner's scuba diving course!

Delve into the underwater realm and kickstart a lifelong aquatic adventure with this comprehensive introduction to scuba diving. This course offers thorough guidance in safety protocols and underwater maneuvering techniques. You'll learn the essentials of breathing beneath the waves and mastering buoyancy, all while familiarizing yourself with the diving gear.

Spanning 3 hours, the course is conducted in the controlled environment of a swimming pool. Although this may feel quite different from the thrill of oceanic exploration, it serves as an excellent foundation in diving basics and helps you determine your affinity for the sport. This experience is also a great stepping stone for those contemplating the PADI Open Water Diving Course!

Practical information

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: 12+
  • Health & Physical limitations: 
    • This experience involves a health questionnaire to be filled out prior to booking which might entail contacting your physician for approval to participate.  
    • General concerns are with regards to heart & lung issues. Not suitable if you are pregnant.
  • Experience level: This experience is designed for beginners as an introduction to scuba diving. Skills learned count towards open water certification.

 

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: This is not an experience for anyone under the age of 12. 
  • Individuals with disabilities: This experience is available for the hard of hearing 
  • Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 2 hours
  • What’s included: Fins, scuba diving gear & wetsuits are provided
  • Who will be present: You will have an instructor with you at all times as well as up to 10 total participants
  • Spectators: You may bring friends and family to watch, there will be spot for them 
  • Photo/ video: You may bring underwater cameras

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: This is an indoor experience
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance
  • Parking: You may park your car/ bike/ truck at this spot
  • What to bring: Swimsuit and a towel
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: There are changing rooms at the experience location.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 7 days before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 7 days in advance means losing the value of your experience.
