  • In compliance with California State Law, children under 8 years old or shorter than 4'9" must use an appropriate car seat or booster in the rear seat. Rear-facing car seats are required for children weighing less than 40 pounds or shorter than 40 inches.
    • *Parents are responsible for providing the appropriate car seat or booster.
• Individuals with disabilities: The vehicles used for this experience are not wheelchair accessible. Guests must be able to independently board and navigate several steps within the vehicle.
• Languages: Every tour includes an English-speaking live driver-guide.
  • A multilingual audio guide app is also available in 10 additional languages: Spanish, French, Japanese, Portuguese, German, Russian, Italian, Catalan, Korean, and Chinese.
    • The app is free and the team will assist with downloading it at check-in.
• Pets: Pets are not permitted on the tour, except for service animals if organized in advance with the provider.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: Approximately 7.5 hours total (5.5 hours for the Half-Day LA Highlights Tour + 2 hours for the Celebrity Homes Tour), with traffic permitting. Tour may go slightly longer based on conditions.

• Who will be present: A live local driver-guide will be present on each tour. Vehicles seat 10–13 passengers for the Celebrity Homes Tour (open-air bus) and a larger premium mini-coach for the Half-Day Tour.
• Spectators: No spectators are allowed; all guests must have a ticket/reservation.
• Photo/video: Photos and videos are strongly encouraged throughout both tours.
• Specific rules to follow: Smoking and vaping are not permitted during either tour. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on board either vehicle.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: Tours typically operate in light rain and moderate weather conditions. Either tour may be cancelled on short notice in the event of severe or unsafe weather. Check the weather before departure and dress accordingly.
• Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes before each scheduled departure time.
  • The suggested schedule, if taking both tours on the same day, is: Half-Day LA Highlights Tour from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, followed by the Celebrity Homes Tour from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM (or 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM seasonally).
  • Both tours may also be taken on separate days — the choice is made after booking.
    • *The selected date when booking refers to the 5.5 Hour Half-day sightseeing tour of The Best of Los Angeles. To select the date and time for the 2-hour Celebrity Homes Tour, please contact the local operator.
• Parking: Public parking is available at 1670 N Sycamore Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90028 (Hollywood).
  • We recommend parking at 1721 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90028. If departing from Santa Monica, parking is available at 1447 Ocean Ave, Santa Monica, CA 90401.
• What to wear: Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and good walking shoes are recommended. Sunscreen and sunglasses are advisable for the open-air Celebrity Homes Tour portion.
• What to bring:

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
