Any restrictions to participate?

• Age: 21+
• Physical limitations: Need to be able to walk to 3 locations in the Lower East Side.

Who can you accommodate for?

• Children: This is not an experience for children or anyone under the age of 21. 
• Individuals with disabilities: Unfortunately, not all locations are wheelchair accessible, but service animals are allowed.
• Languages: Tours are offered in English, Spanish, Italian, French, and German.
• Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: Approximately 3 hours.
• What’s included: 
  • Expert tour guides with history majors
  • Stops at 3 speakeasies
  • Drinks are not included but available for purchase
• Who will be present: You will have a tour guide with you at all times as well as up to 12 total participants. 
• Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket.
• Photo/ video: Photos are encouraged!
• Specific rules to follow: It is strongly recommended to not drink before the tour or you might not be admitted in some of the Speakeasies.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: The experience will run rain or shine with the exception of extreme weather conditions. 
• Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance
• Parking: Public transportation is recommended, however, if you are driving there is parking available near the meeting location.
• What to wear: The speakeasies require nice/dressy attire. No sportswear (discrete sneakers are fine), no flip flops, no tank tops, and no fur. If you wear these items you will not be allowed to enter the speakeasies. 
• What to bring:
  • Valid government issued ID
  • Gratuity for your guide is greatly appreciated if you enjoy the tour
• Restrooms: Restrooms will be available at each tour stop.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
