Your journey, piloted by an FAA-certified expert, will sweep you over the lush Willamette Valley, famous for its exceptional pinot noir. Departing from McMinnville Municipal Airport, just moments from the picturesque Red Hills of Dundee, you'll ascend in a Robinson R44 for a panoramic view of the vineyard-strewn landscape below. The tour also presents a distinct perspective on Oregon's dramatic coast and the bustling streets of downtown Portland.

This breathtaking aerial voyage is an unparalleled way to experience the beauty of Oregon's wine country and beyond.

Practical information

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: 2+
  • Weight: Individual weight cannot exceed 250 pounds, and the combined weight of all passengers cannot exceed 570 pounds.
  • Height: Cannot exceed 6’6”

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: Children must be at least 2 years old and sit in their own seat. All participants under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who must sign a waiver on their behalf.
  • Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 30-40 minutes of flight time
  • What’s included: Scenic flight with unobstructed views in a modern, luxurious 3 passengers helicopter.
  • Who will be present: This is a private experience for your group (up to 3 participants pending weight requirements). You will have an FAA certified pilot with you at all times. 
  • Spectators: Spectators are welcome to join to watch and take photos of the takeoff and landing.
  • Photo/ video: Photos and video are encouraged!

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: This is a weather dependent experience. If you have any questions regarding weather conditions please contact the experience provider directly. 
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance
  • Parking: There is parking available onsite.
  • What to wear: Comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather conditions and flat, closed toe shoes like sneakers.
  • What to bring:
    • Valid identification
    • Gratuity for your instructor is greatly appreciated if you enjoy the experience.
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Restrooms are available onsite, but there are no lockers or changing rooms.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 72 hours prior to your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, please contact the Giftory support team. No-shows or rescheduling less than 72 hours in advance means losing the full value of your experience.
