Set sail on a 2-hour adventure along the Willamette River, exploring Portland's rich history and vibrant skyline. This unique cruise takes you past nine of Portland's iconic and historical drawbridges, offering stunning views of the city's architecture and natural beauty. As you journey downtown, get up close to ocean-going ships at the Port of Portland, marvel at the huge drydocks, and witness the bustling shipping yards from the water.

Along the way, enjoy sightings of local wildlife and discover historical landmarks and famous movie locations that have graced the banks of the Willamette River. Bring your own food, wine, hors d’oeuvres, and coffee to create a personalized picnic on the water, making this cruise a delightful blend of sightseeing and relaxation.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: All participants must pay to participate, children included.
  • Pets: No pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 2 Hours
  • What’s included:
    • Boat Captain
    • Bridge History
    • Wildlife Guide
    • Boat ride
    • Life jacket
  • Who will be present: You will have a guide (Captain Charles Arnell) with you at all times, with a maximum of 4 or 6 people in total on the boat.
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket/reservation.
  • Photo/ video: You may take your own photos; photos are encouraged.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive a few minutes in advance.
  • What to bring: All cruises are BYOB. You are welcome to bring your own food, wine, hors d’oeuvres, and coffee!
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: No bathrooms on the boat, but there will be stops at docks with restrooms whenever possible.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
