Any restrictions to participate?

Age: All age groups are welcome.
Experience level: All levels are welcome, but having some experience in singing and/or dancing is advised.
Who can you accommodate for?
Children: All participants must pay to participate, children included.
Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.
What to expect on the day of the experience?
Duration: 1 Hour
What’s included: Private coaching lesson in Acting or Dancing led by an amazing Broadway artist; includes rehearsal studio space and an accompanist
Who will be present: You will have a Broadway artist with you at all times and your group of 2 people.
Spectators: You may bring friends and family to watch, there may be spot for them to watch in the studio, but is not guaranteed.
Photo/ video: You may take your own photos.
How to prepare?
Weather dependency: This is an indoor experience.
Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance.
Parking: Parking may be complicated in New york. It is recommended to take public transit to get to the studio.
What to wear: Clothing you can perform well in, whether that be singing or dancing.
What to bring: Any materials you may have prepared in advance. *The partner will send you a "How-To" guide upon booking.
For acting- and vocal-based lesson, select two pieces for your lesson, such as a song or monologue. You'll have enough time to work on your first selection, and if there's extra time, you'll be prepared with a second piece.
Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Restrooms will be available in the studio.
Anything else I should know before going on this experience?
If you're singing, make sure to have an accompanist at a piano or keyboard, or have a vocal track queued up and ready to go. You can find tracks on platforms like YouTube and PianoTrax. If you can't find a track, singing a cappella is also an option. We recommend playing the track from a different device (like your phone) to avoid interfering with Zoom. It's important to be warmed up and ready to sing your song at the beginning of your lesson. Additionally, if you're working on a monologue or scene, try to memorize as much as possible. Two days before your experience, you'll receive an email with a form to send the titles of your pieces and any sheet music/text you have directly to the artist.
For dance lessons, the artist will prepare a combination (routine) for you to learn.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 7 days before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 7 days in advance means losing the value of your experience.
