Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: All ages are welcome.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Individuals with disabilities: The museum is ADA accessible, with accessible parking and entrance, ADA-compliant restrooms, and a stair lift to the second level in place of an elevator. ASL assistance can be arranged with one week's advance notice.
  • Pets: No pets permitted. Certified service animals only.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: Self-guided visits typically run 1 to 3 hours depending on pace and interest in the collection.
  • What's included: Full access to the exhibit collection across two floors, the Jam Room (playable instruments), the on-site bar, record store, and gift shop. Free guided walkthroughs led by punk scene veterans are occasionally offered to general admission ticket holders on select days.
  • Who will be present: No guide leads the general visit; guests explore independently alongside other museum visitors.
  • Photo/video: Personal phone photos and video are welcome. Professional photography and video equipment are not permitted inside the museum.
  • Specific rules to follow: Only empty, twist-cap water bottles are permitted inside; bags and belongings are subject to security screening at entry.

  • Parking: On-site parking is limited, so rideshare drop-off is recommended. Accessible parking is available directly in front of the museum.
