Rather than reading a placard, guests on the guided tour walk through the Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada, alongside someone who was actually there: past guides have included members of bands like NOFX, The Offspring, and Circle Jerks, sharing firsthand history and behind-the-scenes stories tied to the collection. The tour covers the same one-of-a-kind artifacts on display for every visitor, fliers, fashion, and instruments spanning more than four decades of punk culture, but with the added context only a scene veteran can provide.

Tours run in small groups on select dates each month, so spots are limited and the experience feels personal rather than scripted. Guests can also explore the museum's Jam Room, bar, and record store before or after their tour, making it easy to turn a quick visit into an afternoon.

• Individuals with disabilities: The museum is ADA accessible, with accessible parking and entrance, ADA-compliant restrooms, and a stair lift to the second level in place of an elevator. ASL assistance can be arranged with one week's advance notice.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: Guided tours are scheduled as roughly 90 minutes, though sessions often run longer depending on the guide and group's questions.
• What's included: A tour of the museum's exhibit collection led by a rotating guest guide with firsthand ties to the punk scene, plus general access to the Jam Room, bar, record store, and gift shop.
• Who will be present: A guide leads the tour, with up to 20 guests per group.
• Photo/video: Personal phone photos and video are welcome. Professional photography and video equipment are not permitted inside the museum.
• Specific rules to follow: Only empty, twist-cap water bottles are permitted inside; bags and belongings are subject to security screening at entry.

• Parking: On-site parking is limited, so rideshare drop-off is recommended. Accessible parking is available directly in front of the museum.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
