• Experience level: Suitable for all levels, but some prior kayaking experience is suggested due to the nature of ocean kayaking.

• Children: All participants must pay to participate, children included.
• Individuals with disabilities: This experience involves transporting kayaks and potential hiking, which might be challenging for individuals with certain physical disabilities.
• Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: 4 hours.
• What’s included: Kayak rental, life jackets, seatbacks, paddles, safety equipment, and a 15L dry bag.
• Who will be present: Our friendly team will assist you at the storefront with equipment setup and provide a quick demo and safety talk. Participants will then proceed on their own to the kayaking site.
• Photo/ video: You are encouraged to take your own photos. Capture your adventure and the beautiful surroundings!
• Specific rules to follow: Handle the kayaks with care, do not drag the kayaks on asphalt, and do not sit or stand on the kayaks while on land. Keep on trails, pick up litter, avoid stepping on the reef, and be mindful of the bird sanctuary.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: The experience runs rain or shine; conditions are typically better in the mornings.
• Arrival: Please show up 15 minutes before your booking time at 134 Hamakua Dr. Unit B, Kailua, HI 96762.
• Parking: Available at Ahupuaʻa ʻO Kahana State Park.
• What to wear: Swim suit, water shoes or athletic shoes if you want to hike, sunscreen.
• What to bring:
  • Recommended: Water bottle, snacks.
  • What’s allowed: Personal belongings in the provided dry bag.
  • What’s not allowed: Refrain from bringing unnecessary valuables as storage space is limited.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
