You can choose to snorkel around the base of this stunning basalt islet or take on the challenge of hiking to its summit. Whether you're paddling, hiking, or simply soaking in the surroundings, this experience delivers the ideal blend of adventure and the serenity of nature.

• Experience level: This experience is recommended for people who have kayaked in the ocean before or are experienced paddlers.

Who can you accommodate for?

• Children: All participants must pay to participate, children included.
• Individuals with disabilities: This experience involves transporting kayaks and hiking, which might be challenging for individuals with certain physical disabilities.
• Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: 4 hours.
• What’s included: Kayak rental, safety equipment including life jackets and seatbacks, paddles, and a 15L dry bag rental.
• Who will be present: You will have a team assisting with equipment and a quick demo at the storefront; you will explore independently at the kayaking site.
• Photo/ video: You may take your own photos. Remember to capture the scenic views!
• Specific rules to follow: Keep on trails, pick up litter, avoid stepping on the reef, and be mindful of the bird sanctuary on Mokoli'i.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: The experience runs rain or shine, with best conditions generally in the mornings.
• Arrival: Arrive at the meeting point at 134B Hamakua Dr. Kailua HI, 96734, a little before your scheduled time.
• Parking: Available at the first parking lot on the left as you enter Kualoa Regional Park.
• What to wear: Water shoes or athletic shoes for hiking, sunscreen.
• What to bring:
  • Recommended: water bottle, snacks.
  • What’s allowed: personal belongings in the provided drybag.
  • What’s not allowed: Refrain from bringing unnecessary valuables as storage space is limited.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
