• Health limitations: Not recommended for individuals with conditions that may be aggravated by boating (consult a physician if uncertain).
• Physical limitations: Participants should be comfortable boarding a yacht via dock access. Crew can assist if needed.

Who can you accommodate for?

• Children: Children under 18 years old are not permitted.
• Individuals with disabilities: Limited accessibility for wheelchairs due to vessel design. Service animals are permitted. Contact ahead of time for accommodations.
• Dietary restrictions: Guests may bring their own food to suit dietary needs. Some charters may arrange catering upon request.
• Languages: English-speaking crew.
• Pets: Service animals are welcome, pets are not.

What to expect on the day of the experience

• Duration: Approximately 2 hours, though private charters may be extended for an additional fee.

• Spectators: No outside spectators allowed; only reserved guests may board.
• Photo/Video: Guests may take unlimited personal photos and videos. Some charters offer professional photography packages for an additional fee.
• Specific rules to follow: Smoking and vaping are not permitted. Guests must follow crew instructions for safety at all times.

How to prepare

• Weather dependency: Rain or shine. In cases of unsafe conditions (severe storms or high winds), the trip may be rescheduled or refunded.
• Arrival: Arrive at least 20 minutes before departure at the designated marina to ensure timely boarding.
• Parking: Paid parking available at nearby garages (Chelsea Piers and adjacent lots). Ride-share or taxi drop-off is recommended.
• What to wear: Casual, comfortable clothing and soft-soled shoes. Bring an extra layer in cooler weather.
• What to bring:
  • Valid government-issued ID
  • Food, snacks, or alcoholic beverages (BYOB allowed; no red wine or staining drinks)
  • Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a camera
  • Tips for the crew (customary but optional)
  • What’s not allowed: pets, illegal drugs, smoking, vaping, open flames, red wine, hard shell coolers, weapons and sharp objects, and other pirate accessories.
• Restrooms/Changing rooms: Restroom facilities are available on board. No changing rooms are provided.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• A signed waiver may be required before departure.
• Gratuity for captain and crew is not included in the base price (18–20% is customary).
• The yacht departs promptly at the scheduled time; late arrivals may result in reduced sailing time.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.
