Each tour begins with a unique, four-hour exploration of San Francisco in our custom-built, surf-inspired "Woody" van. Built on a Nissan NV base, "Woody" comfortably seats twelve guests and features custom upholstery, an open-sided design for panoramic views, and a canopy to provide shade. Inspired by the late 1930s Packard, the van blends vintage style with modern comfort, allowing you to explore iconic spots like the Golden Gate Bridge, Twin Peaks, and the vibrant neighborhoods of North Beach and Haight-Ashbury.

Throughout the tour, expect surprises like colorful street-art alleys, the real crookedest street (not Lombard!), and the famous Painted Ladies. A mid-tour stop at a local market offers a chance to grab lunch and people-watch. The tour ends at Fisherman’s Wharf, but we can adjust drop-off points to suit your plans. With small groups, intimate experiences, and the freedom to explore hidden gems, this tour offers the perfect way to see San Francisco like a local.

Any restrictions to participate?

• Age: All age groups are welcome.
• Physical limitations: Participants should be able to walk short distances and step into a van. A folding step is available to assist with entry into the vehicle.

Who can you accommodate for?

• Children: All participants must pay to participate, children included.
• Individuals with disabilities: The tour van is not fully wheelchair accessible, but service animals are allowed. Accessibility for those with limited mobility may be challenging due to the van's high step and walking requirements.
• Languages: The tour is conducted in English.
• Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: Approximately 4 hours. The tour may go slightly longer based on participant engagement throughout the experience.
• What’s included: Four-hour sightseeing tour, professional guide, and hotel pickup in San Francisco.
• Who will be present: You will have a guide with you throughout the tour; the group size is small, typically no more than 12 participants.
• Spectators: No spectators are allowed; everyone must have a ticket/reservation.
• Photo/ video: You are encouraged to take your own photos throughout the experience.
• Specific rules to follow: Participants need to follow the guide’s instructions at all times.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running.
• Arrival: Expect pickup at your hotel in San Francisco between 9:15 and 9:45 AM.
  • The exact pickup time will be confirmed 48 hours before the tour.
• Parking: Participants are encouraged to use public transportation or rideshare to get back to your accommodation after the tour.
• What to wear: Dress in layers, as San Francisco weather can be highly variable. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
• What to bring:
  • Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a camera.
  • Space for personal belongings is limited, so pack light.
• Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: No changing rooms or lockers are available, but bathroom breaks will be provided.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
