• Age:
  • Buena Vida Tapas Bar workshops are open to all ages; participants must be 18 or older to register. Minors with a ticket are welcome when accompanied and supervised by a ticketed adult.
  • At Scofflaw Brewing Co., participants must be 21 or older to register. Minors may attend only if accompanied and supervised by a ticketed guardian.
• Physical limitations: Participants should be able to sit and use both hands for pottery activities.
• Experience level: All levels are welcome; the class is designed for beginners.

Who can you accommodate for?

• Children: Teenagers are welcome at both venues when accompanied by a supervising adult.
• Individuals with disabilities: Both venues are wheelchair accessible, and service animals are permitted.
• Dietary restrictions: Food and beverages are available for purchase, including non-alcoholic options. Participants may bring their own food at Scofflaw Brewing Co.
• Pets: Pets are not allowed indoors at Buena Vida Tapas Bar. Scofflaw Brewing Co. allows dogs in its outdoor taproom area.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: Approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on the workshop theme.
• What’s included:
  • Step-by-step instruction from an experienced pottery host
  • All clay, tools, and materials to make up to two pottery pieces
  • Extra clay to take home for additional projects
  • Paint for decorating air-dried pottery
• Who will be present: A professional pottery instructor will guide the group, with other participants joining in a relaxed, social setting.
• Spectators: Only ticketed participants may attend.
• Photo/ video: Photography is encouraged throughout the session.
• Specific rules to follow: Participants must follow venue and safety rules, including handling materials and beverages responsibly.

• Arrival: Arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in and settle before the class begins.

  • Buena Vida Tapas Bar: Parking is available in the North and Line Deck via the North Angier Ave NE entrance. Follow the blue columns and signage to Buena Vida Tapas.
  • Scofflaw Brewing Co.: Free on-site and street parking available.
• What to wear: Comfortable, casual clothing that can get slightly messy; aprons are provided.
• What to bring:
  • Valid photo ID (required for alcohol purchases)
  • Optional snacks or food (especially at Scofflaw Brewing Co.)
  • Water bottle or reusable cup
• Restrooms: Restrooms are available at both venues.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• Participants can air-dry and paint their pottery at home. For waterproof or food-safe results, a local kiln or ceramic studio can professionally glaze and fire the pieces.
• Each ticket includes a $1 donation to mental health initiatives.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 72 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 72 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
