Dive into the clear, inviting waters of the Nature Coast for a scalloping adventure that promises fun for the whole family. Running from July through September, this excursion takes you to the shallow grass flats renowned for their scallop populations. Under the guidance of a fully licensed and insured captain, equipped with extensive knowledge of the local marine environment, participants are provided with all the essentials for a day of snorkeling and scalloping. The adventure culminates in the chance to enjoy a meal of freshly caught scallops, a true taste of the sea. Designed for both seasoned snorkelers and first-timers, this excursion offers a safe, educational, and enjoyable day on the water, making it an essential experience during the scallop season on the Nature Coast.

  • Experience level: This experience is suitable for all levels, making it perfect for family fun.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: All participants must pay to participate, children included. Additional guests can join for a fee, making it a family-friendly adventure.
  • Individuals with disabilities: Please contact us to discuss any specific needs; accommodations can often be arranged to ensure everyone can enjoy the fishing adventure.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 4-5 hours
  • What’s included: A guided snorkeling tour over the grass flats of Crystal River and Homosassa, known for their clear waters and vibrant marine life.
  • Who will be present:  Experienced guides will accompany you, ensuring a safe and enjoyable underwater adventure for up to six guests.
  • Photo/ video: Don’t forget your camera to capture the action and scenic views!

How to prepare?

  • What to wear: Swimsuits and hats to protect against the sun.
  • What to bring: Towels, polarized sunglasses for better visibility in the water, and sunscreen, preferred snacks and drinks (water will be provided).

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
