After purchase, you can request your preferred dates and times by following the instructions in the email you receive. If it's a gift, the recipient will also get an email with booking instructions.

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: 16+ for single riders
  • Weight: Individual riders cannot exceed 250 pounds
  • Physical limitations: Need to be able to ride an electric assisted bike for 10 miles

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: Children are welcome, but must safely fit in the seat. All participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 
  • Individuals with disabilities: This experience is not wheelchair accessible. Small service dogs are allowed.
  • Dietary restrictions: Please make note of any dietary restrictions at the time of booking.
  • Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed!

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 2 hours
  • What’s included: Railbike, helmet, stop at Prancer’s Farm, and a friendly guide. 
  • Who will be present: A guide will be with you at all times as well as up to 24 total participants.
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a reservation.
  • Photo/ video: Photos and video are encouraged!
  • Specific rules to follow: Alcoholic beverages are not allowed.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes in advance. 
  • Parking: Free street parking is available by the depot.
  • What to wear: Comfortable athletic attire is suggested. Close toed shoes are required. Sandals and flip flops are not allowed. 
  • What to bring:
    • A photo ID that matches the name on your reservation, a water bottle, and sunscreen.
    • You are also welcome to bring your own picnic lunch and snacks.

     

  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: No lockers or changing rooms, but there are restrooms.

Starting from the Santa Paula depot, you and your special someone will take control of an innovative, 2-person railbike, boasting easy maneuverability and an electric-assisted pedaling system that eliminates the need for steering, allowing you to fully immerse in the spectacular vistas.

Guided through a breathtaking 10-mile journey across the Southern California countryside, you'll pass through enchanting groves of oranges, lemons, and avocados, all bathed in the golden hues of the setting sun, creating a serene backdrop for your adventure.

Culminating with a refreshing beverage as the day ends, this 1.5-hour tour combines the thrill of exploration with the beauty of nature, making for an evening filled with memories, laughter, and scenic beauty.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 72 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 72 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
