Full description

Beginning at the iconic Ferry Building Marketplace, your adventure takes you on a four-mile urban hike, blending the old and the new of the city.

As you descend the historic Greenwich Street steps, you'll arrive at Levi Plaza, known as the birthplace of blue jeans. Delve into the world of innovation at Green Street Laboratory, where Philo Farnsworth conducted the first television transmission.

Continuing along the Old Waterfront, you'll be transported back in time with captivating images of Yerba Buena Cove during San Francisco's construction, when bustling three-mast ships defined the coastline. Today, the Embarcadero waterfront boasts modern attractions, including the beloved Ferry Building––your tour's starting and ending point. Take a leisurely break to shop and savor delectable treats at the bustling Ferry Building Marketplace.

Your journey then ascends Telegraph Hill via the charming Filbert Steps, leading to the historical Coit Tower in Pioneer Park. Explore local history while enjoying panoramic views of the Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the infamous Alcatraz Island. Beyond the tower, a hidden garden oasis awaits, offering more stunning vistas of the city by the bay.
