With a whale watching guarantee in place, guests are assured of a memorable experience or they have the option to purchase additional tickets, reschedule, or receive a refund if the minimum of four guests is not met.

• Health limitations: Not suitable for anyone with back, neck, or mobility issues, or those who may experience discomfort on high-speed boat rides.

• Children: Due to safety regulations, children under 10 are not permitted on this tour. All participants need to purchase a ticket.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: Approximately 2.5 hours. Please be prepared for slight variations depending on whale sightings and sea conditions.
• What’s included: Intimate whale watching experience on a smaller boat, allowing closer encounters with whales and dolphins. Up to 6 people per tour for a personal experience.
• Who will be present: A seasoned guide with extensive knowledge of local marine life will accompany you, enhancing your experience with insightful commentary.
• Photo/video: Bring your camera for incredible photo opportunities without the usual crowd; complimentary photos of your adventure will also be provided.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: This experience is weather-dependent and may be rescheduled in case of poor weather conditions.
• Arrival: Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure to check in.
• Parking: Available on Quivira Road for free or at Hyatt Mission Bay lot for a $5 fee with validation at check-in.
• What to wear: Dress warmly in layers as it can get cold on the water, even in mild weather.
• What to bring:
  • Sunscreen and sunglasses for protection against the elements.
  • A hat or cap to shield from the sun.
  • A camera to capture the breathtaking moments (secure straps recommended).
• Restrooms: Available at the departure point but not on the boat; plan accordingly.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• Minimum Passengers: There is a minimum of 4 passengers required for each tour. If the minimum is not met, you may choose to pay for additional tickets, reschedule, or receive a refund.
• Whale Guarantee: While sightings are highly likely, if no whales or dolphins are spotted, you'll receive a free pass for another whale-watching trip to ensure a satisfying experience.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 1 week before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 1 week in advance means losing the value of your experience.
