Embark on a serene railbike journey through Southern California's picturesque landscapes with this Scenic Railbike Tour for Two!

Starting from the Santa Paula depot, you and a partner will board an innovative, 2-person railbike designed with ease of use in mind, featuring an electric-assisted pedaling system that glides effortlessly along a historic railroad track. Without the need to steer, your focus can remain on the breathtaking surroundings.

Your guided tour will take you through a beautiful 10-mile route adorned with Ventura County's vibrant citrus and avocado orchards, leading to the verdant hills of Fillmore. Revel in the splendor of these lush settings as you pedal through the heart of Southern California's countryside.

The adventure includes a delightful stop at Prancer’s Farm, a charming, family-run establishment where you can browse local produce and interact with friendly farm animals. This scenic railbike experience offers a unique way to witness the natural beauty of California, creating lasting memories with your companion.

Any restrictions to participate?

• Age: 16+ for single riders
• Weight: Individual riders cannot exceed 250 pounds
• Physical limitations: Need to be able to ride an electric assisted bike for 10 miles

Who can you accommodate for?

• Children: Children are welcome, but must safely fit in the seat. All participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  
• Individuals with disabilities: This experience is not wheelchair accessible. Small service dogs are allowed.
• Dietary restrictions: Please make note of any dietary restrictions at the time of booking.
• Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed!

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: 2 hours
• What’s included: Railbike, helmet, stop at Prancer’s Farm, and a friendly guide. If the picnic package is selected each participant will receive a sandwich, chips, and a drink in a custom lunch box.
• Who will be present: A guide will be with you at all times as well as up to 24 total participants.
• Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a reservation.
• Photo/ video: Photos and video are encouraged!
• Specific rules to follow: Alcoholic beverages are not allowed.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running.
• Arrival: Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes in advance. 
• Parking: Free street parking is available by the depot.
• What to wear: Comfortable athletic attire is suggested. Close toed shoes are required. Sandals and flip flops are not allowed. 
• What to bring: A photo ID that matches the name on your reservation, a water bottle, and sunscreen. You are also welcome to bring your own picnic lunch and snacks. 
• Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: No lockers or changing rooms, but there are restrooms.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 72 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 72 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
