  • Individuals with disabilities: The Chicago Architecture Center has an elevator and a large family/gender-neutral restroom. Sign language interpretation is available with at least two weeks' notice by contacting tickets@architecture.org. Service animals are welcome.
  • Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed. Service animals are welcome.

  • What's included: One day of admission to two floors of exhibitions at the Chicago Architecture Center, including the interactive Chicago City Model Experience featuring more than 4,000 buildings.
  • Who will be present: This is a self-guided visit, and other guests will be exploring the exhibitions at the same time.
  • Photo/video: Photos are allowed and encouraged.
  • Specific rules to follow: No food or drinks are allowed inside the Chicago Architecture Center. Admission is valid for the exhibitions only and does not include special events or other programs.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: This is an indoor experience.
  • Arrival: Present the ticket at the box office, printed or on a mobile device. Last entry is one hour before closing, and the Center closes early on Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve.
  • Parking: Discounted parking is available at 111 E. Wacker Drive for up to 4 hours. The Center is also easy to reach by CTA train (Clark/Lake, Lake, and Washington stations), CTA bus, or Metra.
  • What to bring:
    • Secure storage for luggage and strollers is not available.
    • Food and drinks are not permitted inside.
  • Restrooms/lockers/changing rooms: Restrooms are available on site. Lockers and luggage storage are not available.
