Guests begin with a sensory adventure, sniffing and sampling a wide selection of phthalate-free fragrance oils until they land on a blend that feels just right, whether it brings back a favorite memory or sparks a brand-new one.

Once the perfect scent is chosen, it's time to mix and pour a completely custom candle into a signature 10oz vessel, using organically grown soy wax and lead-free wicks with no paraffin in sight. The finishing touch is a personalized label, and there are no rules on the name: sweet, silly or totally serious all work. Candles need a little time to cure after pouring and are ready for pickup a couple of days later, so there's something to look forward to after class. It's a relaxing, creative outing for friends, couples or anyone who loves a great-smelling home.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: This class is approximately 1.5 hours long.
• What's included: All instruction, equipment and materials needed, including a 10oz candle vessel and a personalized label.
• Who will be present: You will have a teacher with you at all times; also, other guests may be joining.
• Spectators: Everyone must have a ticket/reservation.
• Photo/video: Photography is allowed and encouraged.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• Candles need time to cure after pouring and will be ready for pickup 2 days after the class.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 in advance means losing the value of your experience.
