Forget store-bought fragrance: this Lombard workshop invites guests to design a perfume that smells like no one else's. Guided by a trained student of aromatherapy, the class is equal parts sensory exploration and creative making, with more than 30 premium essential oils to sniff, test and layer, ranging from timeless classics to rich, exotic notes.

Along the way, guests learn about the history and benefits of the botanicals that catch their attention, which makes every blend feel personal and meaningful. Instead of drying alcohol, each perfume is built on organic jojoba oil, which carries the scent while leaving skin soft and moisturized. With no synthetic fragrances, guests leave with a custom 10ml rollerball perfume plus a matching 1oz spritz to enjoy or share. It's a relaxing, memorable experience for date night, a girls' night out or anyone who loves a signature scent.

Any restrictions to participate?

• Age: Ages 9 and up. Children and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older
• Health limitations: Perfumes are made with essential oils. Guests who are pregnant, nursing or have serious medical conditions (such as epilepsy or heart conditions) should consult a physician before use. Children 12 and under will use designated child-safe essential oils.

Who can you accommodate for?

• Children: All participants must pay to participate, children included.
• Pets: This experience is not suitable for pets.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: This class is approximately 1.5 hours long.
• What's included: All instruction and materials needed, including a 10ml perfume rollerball and a matching 1oz spritz.
• Who will be present: You will have a teacher with you at all times; also, other guests may be joining.
• Spectators: Everyone must have a ticket/reservation.
• Photo/video: Photography is allowed and encouraged.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• Please let the instructor know if you are making a perfume for someone else, so the essential oils can be chosen safely for them.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 in advance means losing the value of your experience.
