Who can you accommodate for?

  • Dietary restrictions: This class is dairy free and nut free.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 2 hours.
  • What’s included: All equipment and ingredients are included. Drinks are available for purchase.
  • Who will be present: You will have a master chef teaching you, as well as additional class participants. Minimum 8 participants and maximum 20 participants. Please note the class can be canceled if the minimum participant requirement is not met.
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must participate.
  • Photo/ video: You are welcome to take your own photos and videos during the class.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: This is an indoor experience.
  • Parking: The hotel is offering a special self parking rate of $5 + taxes (subject to change) for guests who are taking this class.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance.
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: There are bathrooms available.

Experience a flavorful journey into the world of dumplings in this immersive hands-on cooking class experience. Guided by an expert Chef Instructor, formerly the Sous Chef of Girin Korean Steakhouse, you'll delve into the art of crafting Korean-style Mandu dumplings, learning the intricate technique of making dough from scratch and filling your creations using store-bought wrappers.

Two enticing fillings await your culinary exploration: a vegetarian option and a delectable combination of ground beef and tofu. Immerse yourself in the tradition as you practice shaping the dumplings into two distinct Korean Mandu styles—pleated and half-moon. Under the guidance of your Chef Instructor, master the steaming process to cook the dumplings to perfection. The culinary adventure doesn't end there; you'll also create a simple Mandu sauce and a refreshing salad (pa muchim) to complement your handmade dumplings.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows mean losing the value of your experience. Rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance is subject to a $20 per person rescheduling fee. A minimum of 8 participants is required for the class to run. If the minimum is not met, the provider reserves the right to cancel the class and will make every effort to reschedule customers.
