Join our fun and interactive class to master the art of creating the famous Spanish favorite, paella, known for its signature golden saffron hue, smoky chorizo, succulent shrimp, and flavorful vegetables. If you're feeling adventurous, our certified Sommelier, Chef Mauricio, can guide you through the perfect wine pairings, whether you prefer a Spanish delight or a local Washington State wine. Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: 21+
  • 2 or more participants needed per booking.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Dietary restrictions: This class is dairy free, egg free and nut free.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 2 hours.
  • What’s included: All equipment and ingredients are included. Drinks are available for purchase.
  • Who will be present: You will have a master chef teaching you, as well as additional class participants. Minimum 8 participants and maximum 20 participants. Please note the class can be canceled if the minimum participant requirement is not met.
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must participate.
  • Photo/ video: You are welcome to take your own photos and videos during the class.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: This is an indoor experience.
  • Parking: The hotel is offering a special self parking rate of $5 + taxes (subject to change) for guests who are taking this class.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance.
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: There are bathrooms available.

FAQs

What should I expect on the day of the class?

Arrive a few minutes early to check in with the chef instructor using the ticket holder’s name. No need to bring a printed confirmation. The class will typically start with an introduction and a brief overview of the recipes you'll be preparing. Ingredients and cooking stations will be provided, and the chef will guide you through each step. After cooking, you'll enjoy the delicious meal you've created.

Why do classes work together in groups?

Cooking classes are designed to be a social and interactive experience. Working in groups encourages collaboration, allows for sharing of tips and techniques, and enhances the fun of the learning process. It's also a great way to meet new people who share your interests.

Can you accommodate food allergies?

For details on dietary restrictions for each class, refer to the "Practical Info" section on the class detail page. 

Will I eat the food after cooking?

Yes! Enjoying the meal you've prepared is the best reward for all your efforts.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows mean losing the value of your experience. Rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance is subject to a $20 per person rescheduling fee. A minimum of 8 participants is required for the class to run. If the minimum is not met, the provider reserves the right to cancel the class and will make every effort to reschedule customers.

Great experience!

It was really fun, the chef was great, and it was a nice group of people to spend the evening with. I would have liked to have chopped more veggies, and to have individual cooking stations for each group would have made it better.
