The tour caters to both the solo adventurer and those wishing to share the experience; each tandem kayak can comfortably seat two. Whether you're paddling under a canopy of stars with a friend or flying solo with a guide, the mystery of the water's bioluminescent glow promises an unforgettable night. With safety as a top priority, every participant is equipped with life jackets and a glow stick to ensure a secure and dazzling adventure. Choose the perfect night based on the lunar calendar provided for optimal darkness—typically from May through October, with peak brilliance in July and August. This guided tour not only promises a bucket-list-worthy experience but also an intimate encounter with one of nature's most stunning phenomena.

  • Age: Minimum age is 3 years; all children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Weight: There is a 250-pound weight limit per seat and a 425-pound limit per tandem kayak.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: Must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Individuals with disabilities: Tours are accessible, but please check in advance to ensure accommodations can be fully met.
  • Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed on the tours.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: Each tour lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours.
  • What’s included: Use of a clear kayak, tour guide services, and safety equipment.
  • Who will be present: A certified and informative tour guide will lead groups of up to 10 people.
  • Spectators: Spectators are not allowed; all participants must have a booking.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: Tours operate rain or shine, with adjustments made for safety based on weather conditions.
  • Arrival: Arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled tour time.
  • Parking: Directions and parking details will be provided upon booking; remember to account for a $1.00 toll if applicable.
  • What to wear: It’s recommended to wear long sleeves and pants with bug spray underneath to protect against mosquitoes.
  • What to bring: Bring water, bug spray, and a camera or phone for photos. Life jackets for children under 30 pounds must be provided by participants.
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: There are no locker or changing facilities available on-site.

  • Alcohol is not permitted during the tour.
  • Please ensure all waivers are signed digitally prior to arrival to facilitate a smooth check-in process.
