With around 3,000 elk in the park during this season, you might even see a dramatic clash between bulls. Along the way, your guide will share insights into the elk’s migratory and mating behaviors, as well as information about other wildlife inhabiting the park. Scheduled around sunrise and sunset—the peak times for elk activity—this tour offers an unforgettable glimpse into the wild rhythms of Rocky Mountain National Park.

8. What if the weather is bad on the day of my tour?
All tours operate rain or shine. However, in extreme weather conditions, such as heavy snow or unsafe travel conditions, the tour may be canceled. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or be offered an alternative date.

9. Can I take photos during the tour?

10. Do I need to be in good physical shape for these tours?

All tours start and end at our office located at 165 Virginia Dr, Estes Park, CO. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time.

The tour providers strive to accommodate guests with allergies. Please notify us of any food allergies when booking, and we will do our best to provide appropriate options. If you have severe allergies, we recommend bringing your own snacks.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact Giftory. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
