Join an enriching 1-hour guided tour at Farm Sanctuary’s Southern California Sanctuary in Acton, located just 45 minutes from Hollywood. This tour offers the chance to meet and learn about rescued cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, and other farm animals, each with a unique story of struggle and survival. The sanctuary provides a safe haven where these animals can thrive, bask in the sun, and enjoy their days. Visitors will gain insights into the realities of modern animal agriculture while experiencing the heartwarming tales of these inspiring animals. After the tour, guests can browse the Sanctuary Shop for unique items.

• Children: All participants must pay to participate, children included. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
• Individuals with disabilities: Contact at least two weeks in advance to arrange necessary accommodations
• Pets: Companion animals are not allowed on guided tours or shelter grounds at any time. ADA animals are not permitted in certain areas of the sanctuary; contact in advance for arrangements

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: 1 hour. Tour may go slightly longer based on participant engagement throughout the tour
• What’s included: Educational walking tour with a Sanctuary Guide, meeting rescued residents, and learning about animal agriculture. Opportunity to browse the Sanctuary Shop or enjoy a snack on the scenic deck
• Who will be present: You will have a guide with you at all times; other guests may be joining (up to 10 people)
• Photo/video: You may take your own photos

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running
• Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance
• Parking: Available at the sanctuary location
• What to wear: Wear closed-toe shoes or boots, dress in weather-appropriate clothing, bring a hat, sunscreen, and a raincoat or umbrella if rain is forecasted
• What to bring:

  • Smartphone or camera for photos

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• The tour path is not paved and may be slippery when wet and dusty when dry, with a steep grade. Paths include grassy areas and uneven terrain. Contact if additional accommodations are needed.
• If you have visited another sanctuary, farm, or location with chickens, turkeys, or ducks in the last 48-72 hours prior to your visit, you will be asked to postpone your visit to Farm Sanctuary.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule if the tour has to be cancelled due to weather.
