This 4.5-hour outing whisks you out of the city and into the rolling hills of the Hill Country, where you’ll stop at two iconic wineries and the world-famous Salt Lick BBQ. How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: Operates rain or shine.
• Arrival: Check in begins 15 minutes before departure at the Austin Visitor Center.
• Parking:
  • Metered street parking available on 5th Street near the Mexic-Arte Museum and surrounding blocks.
  • Discounted parking available at the Frost Bank Garage (401 E. 4th St., Austin, TX 78701). Visitors to the Austin Visitor Center receive 1 hour and 10 minutes free with a QR code scan.
• What to wear: Comfortable attire suitable for a relaxed food and wine outing.
• What to bring:
  • Valid photo ID (mandatory for tastings)
  • Cash/credit card for BBQ and winery purchases
  • BYOB beverages (cans or non-glass containers preferred)
• Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Facilities available at Salt Lick BBQ and wineries.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• Tastings and meals are not included; plan accordingly.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
