Overview

Start a new winter hobby at one of the East's biggest mountains with a learn to ski or snowboard day trip from New York City to Killington, Vermont. Every package includes round trip coach travel, a full day lift ticket and a lesson, with rental gear available too.

🎓 Learn the fundamentals in a ski or snowboard lesson

🎿 Add skis or a snowboard, boots and a helmet, or bring your own setup

🎟️ Practice anywhere on the mountain with a full day lift ticket

🚌 Ride a heated coach with a trip leader on board

A first day on skis or a snowboard is a lot more fun when the logistics are already handled, and this trip from New York City to Killington takes care of nearly all of them. Riders travel north in a heated coach, then pick up the basics in a lesson before heading out to practice on the snow. A trip leader is with the group on the bus and at the mountain, so help is never far away.

Three packages are available. The All Area Lift Bus Lesson & Ski Rental and All Area Lift Bus Lesson & Board Rental packages include a rental of skis or a snowboard, boots and a helmet, while the All Area Lift Bus & Lesson package suits anyone who already has their own gear. Every package comes with a full day lift ticket for the whole mountain. When the lifts close, a complimentary drink is waiting to celebrate a brand new skill before the ride back to the city.
