Your adventure begins early in the morning with a quick pilot briefing to set the stage. Then, you'll be escorted to the launch site, where the activity is buzzing – the whir of inflator fans, the vivid hues of modern balloons, and the powerful rumble of burners. And then, it's time to take flight!

With a gentle rise, the balloon lifts into the crisp morning air, carrying you over rows of grapevines and weaving through the towering peaks of one of the world's most breathtaking valleys. Drifting peacefully above, you'll soak in the true essence of balloon travel.

Throughout the journey, your knowledgeable pilot will be your companion, offering insights into local landmarks and the valley's remarkable scenery. These moments will be etched in your memory forever!

Additionally, guests can enjoy wine tastings, redeemed through the Tastefuli app, which is also used to complete your pre-flight safety brief. Tastings are available on a first-come, first-served basis to guests aged 21 and over. 

Any restrictions to participate?

• Weight: All passenger weights must be shared at the time of booking
• Height: Must be at least 48 inches tall
• Health limitations: Not for expectant mothers or people suffering from chronic pain or who have had recent major surgery.
• Physical limitations: Must be able to adopt the bent knee seated landing position and have upper-body strength and flexibility to climb in and out of the baskets. Must be able to stand for the duration of the flight (45-60 minutes), and walk on uneven ground to the transportation shuttles.

Who can you accommodate for?

• Children: It is recommended that participants are at least 6 years old and comfortable standing in the basket for 45-60 minutes. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
• Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: Approximately 1 hour of flight time, but plan on 3-4 hours for the entire experience (check-in, balloon inflation, flight, pack-up, transportation back from the landing site, and the final celebration toast).
• What’s included: 
  • Complimentary pastries from a local bakery and hot beverages
  • Transportation to and from the launch site
  • Balloon flight
• Who will be present: This is a shared balloon ride. You will have an experienced FAA certified pilot with you at all times, as well as up to a total of 20 passengers. Baskets vary in size, but range from 6-20 passengers. The baskets are compartmentalized to ensure maximum comfort and safety.
• Spectators: With prior approval, family members and friends are allowed to participate in the inflation and deflation of the balloon, and follow the chase vehicle while the balloons are flying. 
• Photo/ video: Photo and video are encouraged!
• Specific rules to follow: There is no smoking allowed in or around the balloon. All participants must sign a waiver.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: Hot-Air Ballooning is an activity contingent on weather. All flights are subject to cancellation due to unsafe flying conditions. If you're planning a special occasion keep this in mind, and always have a plan B for your itinerary.
• Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance
• Parking: There is parking available at the meeting location. 
• What to wear: Because of varying temperatures, it is recommended to dress in layers. Dress casual and comfortable, wearing sneakers or low-heeled shoes. For taller participants, a light hat is suggested. 
• What to bring: Your camera, and gratuity for your pilot and crew is greatly appreciated if you enjoy the experience. Suggested gratuity is $40 per person. 
• Restrooms: It is recommended to use the restroom prior to the experience.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
