    • Terminal Transfer: Return to the air terminal and transfer to the Buck Wild Hummer Tours terminal for the ground segment of your adventure.
    • Hummer Exploration: Board a customized open-air Hummer for a scenic drive through the Grand Canyon National Park.
    • Scenic Lookout Points: Stop at various lookout points like Duck on a Rock, Yavapai Point, and Moran Point for ample exploration time.

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: All ages welcome. 
  • Weight: 300 lbs per passenger - passengers weighing 300 pounds (136 kg) or more will be charged $175 upon arrival for an additional comfort seat. All helicopter passengers will be weighed at the time of check-in.
  • Health limitations: It's recommended that pregnant women check with the healthcare provider if flying is allowed.
  • Physical limitations
    • Helicopter: The helicopters can stow collapsible wheelchairs with detachable wheels and other compact mobility equipment. Motorized wheelchairs are not permitted onboard the helicopters. Be advised that for passenger safety, our staff cannot assist in boarding or disembarking an aircraft except in cases of emergency. Passengers must be able to use the aircraft seat during flight.
    • Hummer: Customers requiring boarding assistance must have a companion present to assist in boarding and disembarking the Hummer. A companion must also be present during the tour. Wheelchairs and Walkers may be taken in the Hummer, as long as they are foldable.

 

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: We welcome children of all ages! Under current California & Arizona law, a child in a passenger vehicle must be in a car seat or a booster seat if he or she is:
    • Younger than 8 years old, or shorter than 4 feet, 9 inches tall (57 inches)
    • Infant/Toddler Car Seats required for ages under 5
    • *Booster Seat required for ages 5-7
  • Individuals with disabilities: Wheelchair accessible, passengers must be able to use aircraft seats during flight (also see physical limitations). Hummer: Customers requiring boarding assistance must have a companion present to assist in boarding and disembarking the Hummer. A companion must also be present during the tour. Wheelchairs and Walkers may be taken in the Hummer, as long as they are foldable.
  • Languages: Narrations are available in Chinese - Mandarin & Cantonese, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish.
  • Pets: no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration:
    • Tour Duration: Approximately 3 hours
    • Flight Duration: Approximately 25-30 minute flight
    • Hummer Tour: Approximately 2 hours
  • What’s included:
    • Flight over the Grand Canyon in a state-of-the-art helicopter
    • Scenic views of the deepest and widest part of the canyon, including the North Rim and Dragon's Corridor
    • Guided, open-air Hummer tour to popular lookout points within Grand Canyon National Park
  • Who will be present: You and your pilot will be accompanied by other tour participants, with a maximum of 6 per helicopter. 
  • Spectators: Not allowed
  • Photo/ video: You may take your own photos
  • Specific rules to follow:
    • Baggage Restrictions - Purses, backpacks, and other baggage are not permitted on the aircraft due to limited space.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: This experience is weather dependent. If the tour is canceled due to inclement weather, you have the option of rescheduling to a new date/time at no charge 
  • Arrival: Check-in is 30 minutes before the booked tour's start time.
  • Parking: Free parking available
  • What to wear: Layered clothing is recommended through the months of March to September, and winter clothing should be worn from October to mid-March. Wear sensible shoes. The ground at the Grand Canyon is rough, rocky and uneven. It is important to wear sturdy, toe-covering shoes that can handle rough terrain. Sneakers or hiking boots are highly recommended.
  • What to bring: Purses, backpacks, and other baggage are not permitted on the aircraft due to limited space.
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Restrooms available

 

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

  • Pilot gratuity is not included and is left to individual discretion.
  • FUEL SURCHARGE: Due to the increased price of aviation fuel, a temporary fuel surcharge between $5 - $30 per seat is in effect and is collected at the time of check-in.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience. Flights are subject to cancellation due to lack of passenger demand, weather, etc.
