Sample Itinerary:

• Check-In at Grand Canyon Helicopters Terminal: Clients arrive 30 minutes before departure for check-in.
• Identification Check: All passengers 18 years of age and older must present a government-issued photo ID during check-in.
• Boarding Eco-Star Helicopter: Clients board an Eco-Star helicopter designed for optimal sightseeing.
• Aerial Sightseeing Flight: Embark on a breathtaking 40-50 minute aerial sightseeing adventure over the Eastern and Northern rims of the Grand Canyon.
• Scenic Views: Marvel at the absolute best views, gazing over 5,000 feet down to the dramatic confluence of the Little Colorado River.
• Imperial Point Exploration: Drift past Imperial Point, a rugged spire standing alone near the North Rim, experiencing an up-close and personal perspective only a helicopter can provide.
• North Rim Climate Experience: Explore the vastly different climate of the North Rim, witnessing plant and animal life not present at the drier South Rim.
• Dragon Corridor Return: Head back to Grand Canyon South Rim via the Dragon Corridor, another picturesque section of the Grand Canyon.
• Flight Conclusion: Conclude the roundtrip aerial flight, providing the most scenic views from the most impressive heights.
• Return to Grand Canyon Heliport: Return to the Grand Canyon Heliport, concluding this unforgettable aerial adventure.

Note: Guests must provide their transportation to our Grand Canyon Terminal for a seamless and exhilarating experience.

Any restrictions to participate?

• Age: All ages welcome. 
• Weight: 300 lbs per passenger - passengers weighing 300 pounds (136 kg) or more will be charged $175 upon arrival for an additional comfort seat. All helicopter passengers will be weighed at the time of check-in.
• Health limitations: It's recommended that pregnant women check with the healthcare provider if flying is allowed.
• Physical limitations: The helicopters can stow collapsible wheelchairs with detachable wheels and other compact mobility equipment. Motorized wheelchairs are not permitted onboard the helicopters. Be advised that for passenger safety, our staff cannot assist in boarding or disembarking an aircraft except in cases of emergency. Passengers must be able to use the aircraft seat during flight.

Who can you accommodate for?

• Children: We welcome children of all ages! Under current California & Arizona law, a child in a passenger vehicle must be in a car seat or a booster seat if he or she is:
  • Younger than 8 years old, or shorter than 4 feet, 9 inches tall (57 inches)
  • Infant/Toddler Car Seats required for ages under 5
  • *Booster Seat required for ages 5-7
• Individuals with disabilities: Wheelchair accessible, passengers must be able to use aircraft seats during flight (also see physical limitations). Hummer: Customers requiring boarding assistance must have a companion present to assist in boarding and disembarking the Hummer. A companion must also be present during the tour. Wheelchairs and Walkers may be taken in the Hummer, as long as they are foldable.
• Languages: Narrations are available in Chinese - Mandarin & Cantonese, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish.
• Pets: no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: Approximately 40-50 minutes
• What’s included:
  • Helicopter flight from Grand Canyon South Rim Heliport on a state-of-the-art Eco-Star helicopter with panoramic viewing windows
  • Scenic views of the deepest and widest part of the Canyon, including the North Rim of the Grand Canyon
• Who will be present: You and your pilot will be accompanied by other tour participants, with a maximum of 6 per helicopter. 
• Spectators: Not allowed
• Photo/ video: You may take your own photos
• Specific rules to follow:
  • Baggage Restrictions - Purses, backpacks, and other baggage are not permitted on the aircraft due to limited space.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: This experience is weather dependent. If the tour is canceled due to inclement weather, you have the option of rescheduling to a new date/time at no charge 
• Arrival: Check-in is 30 minutes before the booked tour's start time.
• Parking: Free parking available
• What to wear: Layered clothing is recommended through the months of March to September, and winter clothing should be worn from October to mid-March. Wear sensible shoes. The ground at the Grand Canyon is rough, rocky and uneven. It is important to wear sturdy, toe-covering shoes that can handle rough terrain. Sneakers or hiking boots are highly recommended.
• What to bring: Purses, backpacks, and other baggage are not permitted on the aircraft due to limited space.
• Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Restrooms available

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• Pilot gratuity is not included and is left to individual discretion.
• FUEL SURCHARGE: Due to the increased price of aviation fuel, a temporary fuel surcharge between $5 - $30 per seat is in effect and is collected at the time of check-in.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience. Flights are subject to cancellation due to lack of passenger demand, weather, etc.
