Spend a day exploring some of Colorado’s most scenic destinations with an 8-hour tour starting from the Denver Metro area. Colorado Springs, just over an hour’s drive from Denver, offers breathtaking views and unique geological formations at Garden of the Gods. If conditions allow, the tour includes a drive to the summit of Pike’s Peak, also known as America's Mountain, providing sweeping vistas across the front range. The journey includes a delightful lunch stop in the quaint town of Manitou Springs, where visitors can taste water from one of its nine mineral springs.

This customizable tour caters to diverse interests. Photography enthusiasts will find numerous opportunities to capture the majestic landscapes, while bird and wildlife watchers can embark on short hikes to spot species such as Woodhouse’s Scrub Jay, Townsend’s Solitaire, Canyon Wren, and possibly even Rosy-Finches. Regular sightings of bighorn sheep and mule deer at Garden of the Gods, along with occasional elk in the higher altitudes, add to the allure. Tailor the day to focus on breathtaking views or the rich variety of wildlife, ensuring a memorable experience in Colorado’s natural beauty.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

Duration: 8 hours.
What’s included: Water, snacks, picnic lunch, snow spikes or snowshoes, hiking poles. Additional binoculars available if needed.
Who will be present: You will have a guide with you at all times as well as your group of up to 4 participants.
Spectators: No spectators are allowed; everyone must have a reservation.
Photo/video: You may take your own photos; professional photography is not provided.

How to prepare?

Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will run.
Arrival: Plan to arrive on time for hotel pickup if requested.
Parking: Parking is available on site.
What to bring: Bring what you need; storage available if necessary.
Restrooms/lockers/changing rooms: No changing rooms, but restroom stops will be made.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
