What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Guests are invited to arrive an hour early for the optional ½-mile walk to the Stone Dam.
• What’s included:
  • Guided farm tour (1 hour) of the regenerative food forest, including exotic plants and discussion of sustainable agriculture practices.
  • Island-to-table meal (1 hour), 100% Kauai-sourced, with seasonal dishes and beverages available for purchase.
  • Tea sampling (mamaki and ginger blossom).
• Who will be present: A farm guide (Director of Agroecology or team member) leads the tour. A local chef prepares and introduces the family-style meal. Experience includes up to 25 participants.
• Spectators: Not permitted; all guests must have a reservation.
• Photo/ video: Guests are welcome to take personal photos.
• Specific rules to follow: Respect the endangered species on the farm (such as the nene goose) by keeping a safe distance and driving slowly upon arrival.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: Experience runs rain or shine. Sudden downpours are common on Kauai’s north shore.
• Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes early for check-in (or an hour early if joining the optional walk).
• Parking: Available on the grass island immediately in front of the reception building after passing through the gates at 4900 Kuawa Rd, Kilauea. Drive slowly through the residential neighborhood leading to the farm.
• What to wear: Comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and rain gear as needed.
• What to bring:
  • Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
  • Rain gear (light jacket or umbrella)
  • Cash/card for beverages and gratuities
  • A camera or smartphone for photos
• Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Restrooms available at the farm campus before and after the tour.

• Farm is home to endangered and protected species—guests are asked to be respectful and mindful at all times.
• Beer, wine, and craft cocktails are available for purchase on-site.
• Guests are welcome to explore additional amenities after the tour, including the Fruit Tree Orchard, Lei Garden, Stone Dam, local product retail store, and farm bar.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
