In this vibrant 2-hour class, you’ll design your own mosaic lamp using a dazzling selection of 16 colorful glass pieces and beads. Guided by skilled artisans, you’ll learn how to arrange your patterns, apply materials, and build a stunning lamp that glows with your personal touch. • Health limitations: Not recommended for individuals with limited hand mobility due to the use of glue guns and small decorative materials.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: Approximately 2 hours; the session may run slightly longer depending on participant engagement and design complexity.

  • All materials and tools needed to create a personalized Turkish mosaic lamp, including a glass globe, lamp body and lid, 16 mosaic glass colors, chunky beads, LED bulb, inspiration template, glue, and gloves.
  • Complimentary refreshments (snacks, coffee, tea, and water).
  • Step-by-step guidance from an expert artisan.
  • Optional add-ons such as a lamp hanger, Smart LED with touch control, or DIY take-home kit (available at the studio).
• Who will be present: An instructor will guide the group through each step. Up to 40 participants can join per session.
• Spectators: Only registered guests are permitted in the workshop area.
• Photo/ video: Photography is encouraged to capture progress and finished creations.
• Specific rules to follow: Participants must handle materials carefully and follow safety instructions for the use of glue guns.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: This is an indoor experience that runs regardless of weather conditions.
• Arrival: Arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in and get settled.
• Parking: Street and public parking options are available near the San Jose studio.
• What to wear: Comfortable clothing that may get a bit of glue or dust; aprons are provided.
• What to bring:

  • Personal water bottle (optional).
  • Phone or camera for photos.
• Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Restrooms are available onsite; lockers and changing rooms are not required.

• Sessions can be adjusted between 2–3 hours upon request.
