During this interactive and hands-on class, you'll receive step-by-step guidance in honing your knife skills, creating delightful dumpling fillings, and mastering the intricate art of folding dumpling dough into an array of traditional shapes. Your skilled chef instructor will also showcase the process of crafting dumpling dough from scratch, empowering you to replicate the experience in the comfort of your own kitchen.
You'll have the opportunity to choose between two types of fillings: a delectable combination of ground beef and veggies, or a vegan alternative. Alongside this, you'll uncover the secrets to perfectly steam and deep-fry your dumplings. Moreover, participants will be taught to craft two varieties of tantalizing ponzu dipping sauces. After crafting your culinary masterpieces, the finale involves plating up and savoring your delectable creations!

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 2 hours.
  • What’s included: All the equipment and ingredients will be provided. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price.
  • Who will be present: Minimum 8 guests, maximum 26 guests will be present. The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. 
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket/reservations.
  • Photo/ video: You may take your own photos and videos.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: This is an indoor experience
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance
  • Parking: Limited street parking is available at this location. 
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: There will be restrooms at the experience location.

FAQs

What should I expect on the day of the class?

Arrive a few minutes early to check in with the chef instructor using the ticket holder’s name. No need to bring a printed confirmation. The class will typically start with an introduction and a brief overview of the recipes you'll be preparing. Ingredients and cooking stations will be provided, and the chef will guide you through each step. After cooking, you'll enjoy the delicious meal you've created.

Why do classes work together in groups?

Cooking classes are designed to be a social and interactive experience. Working in groups encourages collaboration, allows for sharing of tips and techniques, and enhances the fun of the learning process. It's also a great way to meet new people who share your interests.

Can you accommodate food allergies?

Will I eat the food after cooking?

Yes! Enjoying the meal you've prepared is the best reward for all your efforts.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows mean losing the value of your experience. Rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance is subject to a $20 per person rescheduling fee. A minimum of 8 participants is required for the class to run. If the minimum is not met, the provider reserves the right to cancel the class and will make every effort to reschedule customers.

Instructor was amazing!!

We love the class and the chef was great! The only negative would be that in the description it said we were making 3 different kinds of dumplings and we only made one kind.
