  • Age: Participants must be between 18 and 80 years old.
  • Weight: Weight capacity varies by Chiliboat model. Standard models can accommodate up to 265 lbs, large models up to 375 lbs, and tandem models up to 485 lbs.
  • Health limitations: Guests should not participate if they have a medical condition, injury, or other concern that could make participation unsafe without first consulting a medical professional and notifying staff.
  • Physical limitations: Participants must be physically able to safely perform light to moderate activity, including pedaling and balancing on a watercraft.
  • Experience level: All levels are welcome. Safety instructions and a life jacket fitting are provided before boarding.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: This is not an experience for children. Participants must be at least 18 years old.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: Approximately 30 minutes.
  • What’s included: A Chiliboat water bike, life vest, safety guidelines, and a guided experience on the Delaware River at Penn's Landing. Guests can enjoy views of landmarks such as Cruiser Olympia, Submarine Becuna, and Moshulu.
  • Who will be present: Knowledgeable guides will accompany the experience and provide insights into Philadelphia's history and culture. Other participants may also be on the water during the tour.
  • Photo/video: Personal photos are welcome, but avoid bringing valuables that could be lost or damaged by water. Photos or videos may also be taken during the experience for promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.

    • Life jackets and other required safety equipment must be worn as instructed.
    • Do not stand while the Chiliboat is moving unless instructed by staff.
