Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: Passengers must be at least 7 years of age 
  • Weight: 300 lbs per passenger - passengers weighing 300 pounds (136 kg) or more will be charged for an additional comfort seat. All airplane passengers will be weighed at the time of check-in.
  • Health limitations: It's recommended that pregnant women check with the healthcare provider if flying is allowed.
  • Physical limitations: The airplanes are wheelchair accessible.

 

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: Adults and children need a ticket
  • Languages: Narrations are available in Chinese - Mandarin & Cantonese, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish.
  • Pets: No pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: Approximately 12.5 hours 
  • What’s included:
    • Eastern views of Grand Canyon National Park, the Navajo Indian Reservation, Painted Desert, Glen Canyon, and Horseshoe Bend
    • 15.5-mile rafting on the Colorado River
    • Short hike to view ancient petroglyphs
    • Box lunch
  • Who will be present: You and your pilot will be accompanied by other tour participants, with a maximum of 6 per plane. 
  • Spectators: Not allowed
  • Photo/ video: You may take your own photos
  • Specific rules to follow:
    • All passengers are required to reconfirm their tour at least 24 hours in advance by contacting our reservations department at 702-835-8477. Please have your reservation number available. The partner's specialists are available daily from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm (Pacific Time). Reservations without confirmed pick-up information will be wait-listed.
    • Baggage Restrictions - Purses, backpacks, and other baggage are not permitted on the aircraft due to limited space.
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Restrooms available

 

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

  • Pilot gratuity is not included and is left to individual discretion.
  • FUEL SURCHARGE: Due to the increased price of aviation fuel, a temporary fuel surcharge between $5 - $30 per seat is in effect and is collected at the time of check-in.

Sample Itinerary:

  • Check-in at Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines Terminal: Guests should arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled pick-up at the Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines Terminal.
  • Pick-up and Departure: Pick-up and drop-off locations are limited to Grand Hotel, Holiday Inn, Red Feather Lodge, Canyon Plaza Hotel, Best Western Squire Inn, and Maswik Lodge. Pick-up is approximately 60 minutes before the flight departure, with timings based on hotel location, time of day, and traffic conditions.
  • Scenic Bus Journey: Embark on a scenic bus journey through the Navajo Nation lands, Painted Desert, and the Grand Canyon's Eastern Rim.
  • Arrival in Page, Arizona: Reach Page, Arizona, the starting point for your adventure at the base of Glen Canyon Dam.
  • Colorado River Float Trip: Board a motorized river raft for a 15-mile float trip on the Colorado River. Enjoy the breathtaking canyon walls and receive insights from your guide about the area's history and ancient inhabitants.
  • Hiking and Petroglyphs: Take a short hike along the river bank to explore ancient petroglyphs, connecting with the rich cultural history of the region.
  • Horseshoe Bend Experience: Witness the world-famous Horseshoe Bend with its awe-inspiring cliffs soaring above the iconic bend in the Colorado River.
  • Trip Conclusion at Lee's Ferry: The journey concludes at historic Lee's Ferry, where ground transportation awaits for the return trip to the Grand Canyon area.
  • Stop at Cameron Trading Post: Before concluding the day, make a stop at the Cameron Trading Post for a unique shopping experience.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience. Flights are subject to cancellation due to lack of passenger demand, weather, etc.
