The e-bikes provide a comfortable ride with options for pedal assistance, making it enjoyable for all fitness levels. After cycling, switch gears to a relaxing 2.5-hour kayak trip down the Verde River, navigating through mild rapids and lush riverbanks, perfect for cooling down and soaking in the natural beauty. Conclude your adventure at a Tuscan farmhouse within the vineyard for a refreshing wine tasting or a snack, using your $20 credit to savor the local flavors.

  • Age: 13+ for e-bike tour and river trip; 21+ required for wine tasting.
  • Height: Must be able to ride a standard two-wheeled bike.
  • Health limitations: Must be physically capable of biking and kayaking.
  • Physical limitations: Guests should be comfortable with light physical activities including biking and paddling.
  • Experience level: Suitable for all levels; options available to adjust the pedal assist on e-bikes for a more or less challenging ride.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: Children under 21 can participate in biking and kayaking but are excluded from wine tasting.
  • Individuals with disabilities: Please inquire for specific accommodations; e-bikes and kayaks may require physical ability to operate.
  • Languages: Tours are conducted in English.
  • Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed on the tours.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: Approximately 4 to 4.5 hours including e-bike tour, kayaking, and optional wine tasting.
  • What’s included: E-bike rental, kayak rental, safety equipment, $20 credit at Alcantara Vineyards for wine tasting or food, guided tour with a knowledgeable guide.
  • Who will be present: Professional guides will accompany the guests for both biking and kayaking portions.
  • Photo/video: Guests are welcome to bring cameras and phones; ziplock bags recommended to keep devices dry.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: The experience runs regardless of weather; cancellations only occur due to unsafe conditions.
  • Arrival: Guests are advised to arrive 15-20 minutes before the scheduled start time.
  • Parking: Available at the starting point; all activities loop back to the starting point.
  • What to wear: Weather-appropriate clothing that can get wet, closed-toe shoes required.
  • What to bring:
    • Reusable water bottle (no single-use plastic bottles allowed).
    • ID for wine tasting if 21 or over.
    • Sun protection: hat, sunscreen, sunglasses.
    • A change of clothes and towel for after the activities.

  • Make sure to plan for transportation if planning to participate in wine tasting. Consider having a designated driver.
  • The activity sequence (e-biking, kayaking, and wine tasting) allows time for changing and resting between activities, enhancing the overall experience.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
