Pasta night gets a serious upgrade at Selfup's cooking studio in New York City, where a single class covers six different shapes, from silky tortelloni stuffed with Del Plin porchetta to hand rolled busiate and pappardelle. Over three hours, a chef walks participants through each technique step by step, no experience required, whether it is a first date, a friend group outing, or a solo deep dive into pasta making.

Once the shaping is done, the fun continues at a sauce bar loaded with pesto, cacio e pepe, and other house made options, so everyone gets to plate their own pasta exactly how they like it. • Who will be present: Your professional chef and up to 34 participants. 
• Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a reservation.
• Photo/ video: Photos are encouraged.
• Specific rules to follow: Outside beverages are not permitted.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: This experience takes place indoors in a commercial kitchen.
• Arrival: Plan on arriving promptly at the scheduled class time. There is a reception for 15 minutes at the start of the event to allow everyone to gather, which allows for a small buffer in case you're running late. If you are 25 minutes late, your ticket is forfeited, and you will not be let in.
• Parking: The closest parking garage is iPark at 350 West 37th Street, directly across the street from the venue
• What to wear: Comfortable shoes and clothing you can cook in.
• What to bring: Identification and a desire to learn!
• Gratuity: Gratuity for your instructor is greatly appreciated if you enjoy the class. $20 per person is recommended.
• Restrooms: Restrooms are available onsite.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 7 days before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 7 days in advance means losing the value of your experience.
