In this street taco cooking class, discover the secrets behind Mexican Carnitas cooked with pineapple juice, cilantro, and finished in a high-roasted oven with Coca-Cola.

Talented chefs will guide you through the entire process of cooking traditional Mexican dishes, sharing insights into the origin stories, ingredient preparation, cooking techniques, and plating.

The cooking class offers a versatile menu of traditional Mexican cuisines, including crafting fresh corn and flour tortillas, homemade salsas, cilantro-lime seasoning for chicken, rice, and beans, Roasted Poblano and Mushroom Grilled Cheese, and unforgettable Mexican Churros with the perfect balance of crispiness and softness.

And, of course, no Mexican dinner is complete without freshly made guacamole – you'll never go back to pre-made versions after learning to prepare it with fresh and simple ingredients!

• Children: The class is designed for adults and teens; it is not a children-friendly environment
• Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.
• Individuals with disabilities: There are two steps from the sidewalk to enter the building, but once inside the building is wheelchair accessible. Service animals are welcome.
• Dietary restrictions: Please make note of any dietary restrictions at the time of booking.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: 3 hours
• What’s included: 
  • Cooking class, dinner, and gratuity for the chef
  • An engaging group activity at each class. While not everyone receives a bowl and spoon, inclusivity is our priority, ensuring that no one feels left out.
• Who will be present: Your professional chef and up to 34 participants. 
• Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a reservation.
• Photo/ video: Photos are encouraged.
• Specific rules to follow: Outside beverages are not permitted.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: This experience takes place indoors in a commercial kitchen.
• Arrival: Plan on arriving promptly at the scheduled class time. There is a reception for 15 minutes at the start of the event to allow everyone to gather, which allows for a small buffer in case you're running late. If you are 25 minutes late, your ticket is forfeited, and you will not be let in.
• Parking: The closest parking garage is at 51 Beaver Street and is 3-4 minutes walking distance from our venue.
• What to wear: Comfortable shoes and clothing you can cook in.
• What to bring: Identification and a desire to learn!
• Gratuity: Gratuity for your instructor is greatly appreciated if you enjoy the class. $20 per person is recommended.
• Restrooms: Restrooms are available onsite.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 7 days prior to your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, please contact the Giftory support team. No-shows or rescheduling less than 7 days in advance means losing the full value of your experience.
