Naperville's Historic District reveals its three haunted roads, each shrouded in eerie tales and real-life mysteries. From the legendary Chicago Avenue Mary, who crosses Ellsworth Street to visit the pond where her love met a tragic end, to Ladley's personal encounter with the Weeping Bride, this haunted Naperville ghost tour promises spine-tingling stories that blend history with the supernatural.

Sample Itinerary:

  • Start at Quigley's Irish Pub: The lingering spirits of a Victorian gentleman's game room just want you to join in their fun.
  • Repent at St. Peter & St. Paul Church: The legend of a ghostly priest still haunts sinners who dare venture into the basement.
  • A Haunted Widower: A husband’s love drove him to strange lengths to bring his wife back from the grave. In this case, the truth really is stranger than the fictional legend.
  • Visit downtown’s ill-fated train station: Restless spirits still roam the tracks where a terrible train collision took their lives.
  • Keep a vigil at North Central College’s Pond: Watch for the reappearance of the campus phantom, a star-crossed lover who returns to the scene of her lover’s demise.
  • Marvel at tales of the most haunted Pfeiffer Hall: Several ghosts are said to walk the boards of this college theater. Spooks include a lady in white, a musical professor, and an enigmatic specter nicknamed Charlie Yellow Boots.

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: Recommended for 12+. If under 18 years old, participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: While tours do not contain anything too graphic or inappropriate, we find that kids that enjoy history have the best time. You know your children best and that's left up to you. We do not recommend bringing children in strollers because sometimes that can be difficult with larger walking groups. All participants must pay to join, children included.
  • Individuals with disabilities: The tour route is wheelchair-accessible and service animals are welcome.
  • Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

 

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 1.5 Hours
  • What’s included: 
    • Expert paranormal guide 
    • Fully-narrated ghost hunt 
    • Electromagnetic field (EMF) detector
  • Who will be present: Your expert guide and up to 30 participants.
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket.
  • Photo/ video: You may take your own photos.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of the tour.
  • Parking: Parking is available at the meeting location.
  • What to wear: Comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate for weather conditions.
  • What to bring: Camera, water bottle, and ID.
  • Gratuity: Gratuity for your guide is greatly appreciated if you enjoy the tour. $5 per person is suggested.
  • Restrooms: Restrooms are available at the meeting location of the tour.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule in the case of an emergency, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows mean losing the value of your experience.
