  • Individuals with disabilities: Oak Alley Plantation is wheelchair accessible, but parts of the cemetery tour involve uneven ground and narrow pathways that may be challenging for wheelchairs.
  • Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: Approximately 9 hours. Tour may go slightly longer based on participant engagement throughout the tour.
  • What’s included: Guided tour of Oak Alley Plantation, a 3-hour New Orleans city and cemetery tour, and transportation between the locations.
  • Who will be present: You will have a guide with you at all times. The group size may vary, but generally includes up to 30 participants.
  • Photo/ video: You may take your own photos during the tours. Photography is encouraged, especially at the plantation and cemetery.
  • Specific rules to follow: Follow the guide’s instructions, especially in the cemetery areas, to respect the historic sites.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running. Bring an umbrella or raincoat if needed.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance to ensure timely departure.
  • Parking: Free parking is available at Oak Alley Plantation.
  • What to wear: Comfortable clothing and good walking shoes are recommended.
  • What to bring:
    • Water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat for sun protection.
    • Phones and cameras for photography.
    • No outside food or alcohol permitted.
  • Restrooms: Restrooms are available at Oak Alley Plantation and before the city tour departs.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
