The Oak Alley Plantation Tour offers a comprehensive and immersive experience into one of Louisiana’s most iconic plantations. This 5-hour tour includes round trip transportation from your hotel and a guided tour of the magnificent Greek Revival style mansion, which dates back to 1837. Situated along the picturesque River Road, Oak Alley is renowned for its 28 evenly spaced, majestic oak trees that create a stunning canopy leading up to the plantation house. Guests will spend approximately 2 hours on the grounds, exploring the blacksmith shop, various exhibits, and the beautiful landscape. The tour is perfect for all ages, providing both educational insights and the opportunity to relax and soak in the historic beauty of the plantation.

• Who will be present: You will have a guide with you at all times; other guests may be joining, with a total of up to X participants.
• Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket/reservation.
• Photo/ video: You may take your own photos.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running.
• Arrival: Plan to arrive 10 minutes in advance.
• Parking: Transportation to and from the hotel is provided.
• What to wear: Comfortable walking shoes.
• What to bring: Any necessary personal items.
• Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: No changing rooms but we will stop for bathroom breaks.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• Pick-up time for your reservation will be between 8:00 am and 8:30 am from your hotel.
• The tour includes a 35-minute guided house tour and additional time to explore the grounds, blacksmith’s shop, various exhibits, and souvenir shop.
• You will spend approximately 2 hours at the plantation. Walking is required for this tour; the distance from the plantation house to the restaurant and souvenir shop is about one block. Benches shaded by oak trees are available along the path.
• Hotel return will be around noon.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
