The Hawkeye departs from Demens Landing and is piloted by a U.S. Coast Guard-credentialed captain, ensuring both safety and a smooth sailing. Before you embark, you’ll need to sign an electronic waiver, which will be emailed to you 48 hours prior to the sail. With essentials like bottled water and ice provided, all you need to do is bring your sunglasses, sunscreen, and perhaps a hat, and then sit back and enjoy the gentle breezes and beautiful scenery of Tampa Bay.

• Pets: Pets are not permitted on board to ensure the comfort and safety of all guests.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: Approximately two hours,.
• What’s included: The service includes a captain and first mate, fuel, safety equipment, bottled water, and ice.
• Who will be present: Aboard the Hawkeye, you will be joined by a U.S. Coast Guard-credentialed captain, a first mate, and up to six guests, ensuring a personalized and intimate experience.
• Spectators: As a private charter, only booked guests are permitted on the sail.
• Photo/ video: Guests are encouraged to capture the picturesque views and memorable moments. However, professional photography is not provided.
• Specific rules to follow: The consumption of red wine and the presence of hard coolers, pets, and any smoking or vaping materials are prohibited to maintain cleanliness and safety.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: Sailing is weather-dependent; updates will be provided if changes arise due to weather conditions.
• Arrival: Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to departure to ensure a timely start.
• Parking: Available at Demens Landing; use the provided Google Maps link for accurate directions and parking info.
• What to wear: Comfortable clothing and non-marking soles shoes are advised.
• What to bring:
  • BYOB, but note that red wine and hard coolers are not allowed.
  • Sun protection such as hats and sunscreen are recommended.
  • Soft coolers to keep your beverages and snacks chilled during the sail.
• Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: There are no facilities on the boat, so please use public restrooms at the park before boarding.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• Ensure all waivers are signed beforehand to facilitate a smooth boarding process. If there are difficulties with electronic waivers, paper copies will be available at the dock.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
