Set sail on a private two-hour sunset cruise aboard the Hawkeye, a 47-foot luxury sailboat, along the scenic waterfront of Downtown St. Petersburg. Ideal for groups up to six, this experience features a calm evening on the waters of Tampa Bay, showcasing the city's skyline bathed in the colors of the sunset. Your journey starts from Demens Landing and includes the skilled guidance of a U.S. Coast Guard-credentialed captain.

Before boarding, each guest must complete an electronic waiver provided via email 48 hours prior to departure. As sunset turns to dusk, relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere or engage with your group in a serene setting. This sunset sail offers a unique opportunity to enjoy Tampa Bay’s beauty in a private, relaxed setting.

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: 6+ and must be of legal drinking age to consume alcohol.
  • Physical limitations: Ability to navigate three steps up to board the boat is necessary.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: The tour is suitable for adults and children accompanied by adults.
  • Pets: Pets are not allowed on board.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: The sail lasts approximately 2 hours.
  • What’s included: Captain and First Mate services, fuel, safety equipment, bottled water, and ice.
  • Who will be present: A US Coast Guard-credentialed Captain, First Mate, and up to six guests.
  • Spectators: Only ticketed passengers allowed; the tour is private.
  • Photo/ video: Photography is encouraged; capture beautiful sunset views.
  • Specific rules to follow: No red wine, smoking, illegal substances, or harmful materials on board.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: The sail is weather-dependent; updates will be provided as needed.
  • Arrival: Arrive at least 10 minutes before departure to ensure timely boarding.
  • Parking: Available at the Demens Landing Boat Ramp; consider carpooling or rideshare due to limited parking.
  • What to wear: Comfortable clothing and non-marking sole shoes; prepare for weather conditions.
  • What to bring:
    • BYOB, but note the restrictions on red wine and hard coolers.
    • Sunglasses, sunscreen, and hats for sun protection.
    • Soft cooler if needed (hard coolers must stay in vehicles).
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Use public restrooms prior to boarding; no facilities available on the boat.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

  • Ensure all waivers are signed electronically prior to arrival; paper copies available if needed.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
