The Sandwiches of Times Square Food Tour is a lively, two-hour adventure that pairs classic NYC energy with some of the city’s best handheld eats. Follow a guide through the flashing lights of Times Square, stopping at three local sandwich spots to sample everything from over-the-top creations to timeless favorites.

Along the way, hear the quirky, surprising history of Times Square and the sandwich legends it holds. Expect generous portions, great local stories, a little debate (burger vs. burrito, anyone?), and a beer at a local bar to wrap it all up. This food tour offers a fresh, satisfying way to experience Times Square beyond the neon lights—and yes, there’s finally an answer about that hot dog debate.

• Physical limitations: Need to be able to walk approximately 1 mile.

Who can you accommodate for?

• Children: All participants must pay to participate, children included. Participants under 18 years old, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Pets: No pets allowed
• Individuals with disabilities: The tour is wheelchair accessible and service animals are welcome. If anyone in your group will be using a wheelchair please let your guide know at the time of booking.
• Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian options are available; however, we regret that we cannot accommodate vegan or gluten-free diets at this time.

• Who will be present: Your expert tour guide and up to a total of 24 participants. 
• Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a reservation.
• Photo/ video: Photos are encouraged.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running.
• Arrival: Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start time. 
• Parking: It is recommended to use public transportation.
• What to wear: Comfortable clothing and shoes for the weather. 
• What to bring:

  • Gratuity: Gratuity for your guide is greatly appreciated if you enjoy the tour. $10 per person is recommended.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 15 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
