Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

  • Because of the small-size vehicles used for the trip, there is limited luggage space. Each passenger may bring one overnight bag. The under-seat storage space will accept ~13.5″x12″x11″ if the item is hard-sided; slightly larger if it is soft-sided. If you have larger luggage, most hotels in San Francisco will store your larger luggage after check-out or before check-in (some charge a fee for this service).

Full description

Experience the ideal finale to a challenging day of hiking at Yosemite's centrally located hotels, where a grand fireplace and comfortable sheets await, providing a camping-free retreat. With convenient door-to-door service from San Francisco to Yosemite Valley, enjoy a picturesque drive through the Central Valley and California Gold Country, accompanied by a guided tour through lesser-explored park areas. The journey extends beyond the valley, encompassing awe-inspiring visits to Glacier Point and a hike among the Giant Sequoias, with stops at iconic viewpoints like Tunnel View for capturing breathtaking images of Half Dome, El Capitan, Bridalveil Fall, and more.

The Yosemite Valley Lodge is centrally located in Yosemite Valley at the base of the iconic Yosemite Falls! Enjoy large rustic lodge rooms that open up to views of the redwoods from your own patio or balcony. Rooms include either one king bed or two queens, and come equipped with a private bathroom, television, and wifi. Please note: Yosemite Lodge at the Falls does not have air conditioning in any guest accommodations.
