Starting January 1, 2026, visitors who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents will have two options for entry into affected parks:
1. The New Non-Resident "America the Beautiful" Pass:

• Cost: $250 USD

• Coverage: This pass covers entrance fees for the pass holder and up to 3 additional adults (ages 16+) traveling together, whether in a private vehicle or as part of a commercial tour.

• Passengers can pre-purchase passes at (https://www.nps.gov/planyourvisit/passes.htm#changes-in-2026).

  • Passengers without pre-purchased passes may be required to purchase pass upon entry to Yosemite or any parks national parks where non-resident fees are required.
    2. Individual Non-Resident Entry Fee:

• Cost: $100 USD per adult (ages 16+).

• Application: This is a per-person fee that applies to each affected park visited. For passengers on a Commercial Ground Tour without a pass, this $100 fee is required in addition to standard commercial entrance fees.

• Children: All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. 
• Individuals with disabilities: The tour is not wheelchair accessible, but service animals are allowed.
• Languages: The tour is conducted in English. 
• Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration: 2 days / 1 night
• What’s included: 
  • Complimentary pickup/dropoff from your San Francisco hotel
  • Transportation to/from Yosemite in a biofueled mini-coach
  • Yosemite Park entrance fee
  • Lodging accommodations
  • Free time to do as you please
  • Meals are not included, but can be purchased during the trip
• Who will be present: You will have a guide with you as well as up to 13 total participants, traveling to and from Yosemite National Park. While at the park you will be on your own to explore as you wish! 
• Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a reservation.
• Photo/ video: Photos are encouraged!
• Specific rules to follow: All rules will be covered at the start of the tour.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running.
• Arrival: Plan to arrive at the meeting location 15 minutes in advance.
• Parking: Parking is available at the meeting location.
• What to wear: Comfortable walking/hiking shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather conditions. Layers and a jacket are recommended.
• What to bring: 
  • Camera, phone, and phone charger
  • Comfortable walking shoes and good socks
  • Layered clothing – California’s weather can be unpredictable
  • Bathing suit & towel
  • A hat, sunscreen and bug repellent
  • Small day pack
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Gratuity for your guide is not included and greatly appreciated if you enjoy the tour.

   

• Restrooms: Restrooms are available at the campsite and you will take bathroom breaks throughout the tour.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

• Because of the small-size vehicles used for the trip, there is limited luggage space. Each passenger may bring one overnight bag. The under-seat storage space will accept ~13.5″x12″x11″ if the item is hard-sided; slightly larger if it is soft-sided. If you have larger luggage, most hotels in San Francisco will store your larger luggage after check-out or before check-in (some charge a fee for this service).

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 14 days before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking for a 10% fee. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 14 days in advance means losing the value of your experience.
