Full description

Your adventure begins with a convenient pick-up, and as you cruise across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, your guide will set the stage for an unforgettable journey.

First, immerse yourself in nature's grandeur as you embark on a tranquil stroll through the ancient Muir Woods National Monument in Marin County. Prepare to be awe-struck by the towering Coast Redwoods, some reaching heights of up to 200 feet. After communing with these magnificent giants, rejoin the tour and continue your scenic drive towards Napa Valley.

In Napa Valley, your wine exploration commences at a quintessential Carneros winery. A knowledgeable wine educator will introduce you to a flight of hand-picked wines crafted by the winemaker. Sip and savor each exquisite taste as you take in the panoramic views from the art salon and wrap-around porch, overlooking sun-drenched vineyards. Don't forget to snag a bottle of their exclusive wines to enjoy later!

With smiles on your faces and appetites awakened, the tour proceeds to historic Sonoma Plaza, a vibrant hub with charming boutique shops and restaurants. Here, indulge in a specially arranged 3-course, wine pairing lunch at the renowned Plaza Bistro. Delight your taste buds with expertly crafted dishes that perfectly complement the accompanying wines. After lunch, take a leisurely stroll around the picturesque Sonoma City Hall, which stands proud with over 150 years of history.

The journey continues as you delve deeper into the laid-back Sonoma Valley at two boutique, family-owned wineries. Gain insights into the winemaking process and discover how the unique soils and micro-climate of each vineyard contribute to the creation of their exceptional estate wines. If you fall in love with a particular wine, don't hesitate to inquire if it can be shipped to your home, so you can relive the memories with every sip.

As the day winds down, embark on a scenic return journey to San Francisco along the historic El Camino Real, reminiscing about the incredible experiences you've had throughout the day. To conclude this magical tour, we'll make a photo stop (weather permitting) at the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.

Capture the stunning views of the city skyline and Alcatraz Island, perhaps with a touch of the quintessential San Francisco fog, providing the perfect ending to your wine country adventure.

The selection of wineries on this tour was excellent, and the overall value for the price was unbeatable.

Our tour guide was an absolute superstar! They had the perfect blend of being informative, humorous, and accommodating. The visit to Muir Woods was absolutely fantastic, and the three wineries we stopped at were truly wonderful. The scenery along the way was stunning, and each winery welcomed us with open arms and served exceptional wine. I highly recommend upgrading to the gourmet lunch option - it's worth every penny. After lunch, we had the opportunity to stroll around Sonoma Square and mingle with the locals. This tour offers incredible value for the price. Don't hesitate a moment longer - go ahead and book it!

The experience at Muir Woods was simply incredible, and we were fortunate enough to find it nearly empty of people when we visited on a quiet Tuesday morning. We were even luckier to have a small group and travel in a van instead of a bus. The wineries we visited were truly lovely, with the last one standing out as particularly great. We even received some exclusive deals as part of the tour. I opted for the extra lunch, which was delicious and served by friendly hosts. However, Sonoma Plaza, where we dined, offers a variety of dining options, so it may not be necessary. Most of our time was spent in Sonoma County, which I thoroughly enjoyed and was perfectly satisfied with. The visit to Napa Valley was relatively brief, so if your goal is to explore extensively in Napa, this tour may not be the most suitable choice. Nevertheless, I would recommend it without hesitation!
